LAUNCHING EVENT 2020

ONE HUMANITY BAKERY

Original invite in september 2020

A remarkable linking took place with the people of Oswiecim, particularly youth, and the global community, in the spirit of one humanity.

Located in the old city center of Oswiecim, the historic Bakery was the original family home and community bakery of the Gerstner-Horowitz family who donated it to the One Humanity Institute (OHI). We are honored to respectfully recognize the family of the past with the family of today. As the first initiative of OHI, we plan to, transform this place of history into a creative BAKERY for the community and a prototype for the One Humanity Institute. Our goal is to build a brighter future for the betterment of Humanity.

One Humanity Bakery – Recipes for a Brighter Future event has been developed with the support and understanding of the international leaders, community builders, visionaries, the Oswiecim Mayor and governor, and many others who assisted in making this notable program a reality.

The event took place in an outside studio-like living room cafe in front of the BAKERY in Oswiecim, Poland, combining the live program with the online presence of the world guests.

We will honor that communal spirit by not only restoring the bakery to its original purpose but by creating a learning space for local youth and other social innovators. One Humanity Bakery will hold an impact library, co-working space, and event space. It will be an innovation hub for entrepreneurship, green technology, and the promotion of the 2030 sustainability goals.
