Biography of Inge Relph

Inge Relph is a strategist, peacebuilder and innovator focussed on putting a human face to security and sustainability. She led the Sustainability practice of Swiss Fintech Lykke Corp, and advises on strategic digital finance innovations like blockchain and tokenisation for social and natural capital markets. Currently she works closely with Sally Ranney, founder of ERA on how responsible finance can be mobilized to achieve the Environmental and Social Development Goals.

A member of the G20 Sustainable Finance Innovation Inquiry, she has held executive positions in strategy, restructuring, marketing and regulatory affairs with blue chip international companies. After co- founding the London Chamber of Commerce Women in Business group, she went on to co-found the Arab International Women’s Forum, a platform to build business and understanding in the Middle East and GAPS (Gender action for peace and security ) advising the UK foreign office. After a move into international development and peacebuilding, she was appointed Senior Policy Advisor to ‘The Elders’, a group that included President Carter, Mary Robinson, Kofi Annan and Gro Brundtland, during the landmark SDG and COP21 negotiations. A stint in Egypt establishing a Regional peace movement training women as peacemakers and as mentor and trainer to women leaders through conflicts in Iraq, Libya and Syria, she remains motivated by the importance of the transformative capacity of people to shift from violence to peace and stability. Facilitator to numerous interfaith dialogues including the annual high level Global Foundation meeting at the Vatican and the Way of Peace dialogues with H.H. The Dalai Lama, Inge is convinced that the world needs more leaders who are nurtured from within and organisations like the OHI to hold the vision of our common ground.

A Respected thought leader who has worked extensively in both Business and International development and is known for policy innovation and building partnerships that create social value and meaningful change. Inge was Senior Policy Advisor to The Elders during the landmark COP 21 and SDG agreements and also advised on private sector engagement, women, peace and security and the Elders/Youngers program. With 20+ years of experience as Exec Director, Board Member and as co-founder of the London Chamber of Commerce Women in Business network and numerous INGO’s, she knows how critical joined – up thinking, smart process and women are to effective outcomes.
